The letter concludes by inviting Administrator Zeldin to join us in touring waste and resource management facilities, and to seek the subject matter expertise of industry professionals when considering policies.
“We wrote this letter to share SWANA’s work and to set the stage for ongoing cooperation,” stated SWANA Executive Director and CEO Amy Lestition Burke, MA, FASAE, CAE. “As I stated in the letter to Administrator Zeldin, ‘We are building a stronger waste and resource management industry, empowering our members to deliver essential services to communities today and anticipate their needs for tomorrow.’ It is essential that our members have the opportunity to share their expertise on policies that may impact waste and resource management.”
